OTS-L list

OTScont list

The purpose of OTS-L list is to facilitate communication between people involved with research, education, conservation at La Selva Biological Station and other interested parties. People can subscribe and unsubscribe at will, as well as send messages that are of interest to the entire list.

The OTScont list is an electronic mailing list maintained at the OTS North American office at Duke University. The purpose of this list is to provide OTS constituents with periodic updates of OTS activities, initiatives, upcoming meetings and events, travel opportunities and other items of interest. People can subscribe and unsubscribe at will, but only the list maintainer at the North American office can send messages.

Other Mailing Lists
The Organization publishes the LIANA (English language newsletter), LIANA (Spanish language newsletter), AMIGOS (newsletter from the Las Cruces/Wilson Garden) and an Annual Report. E-mail cmozell@duke.edu to be added to the OTS mailing list. Be sure to specify which of the following publications you would like to receive.

The LIANA includes a bi-annual English language and Spanish languaje newsletters. They include details of OTS' graduate and undergraduate programs, research conducted at the biological stations in Costa Rica, environmental policy activities, biological station updates, alumni updates and features and travel opportunities to the tropics.

The Amigos Newsletter is a bi-annual publication of the Las Cruces Biological Station and Robert & Catherine Wilson Botanical Garden. It includes station updates, botanical news, research features, and human interest accounts.

The Annual Report is the English language summary of activities for the fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). It includes a summary of all courses with listings of students and their institutions, lists of research fellowships awarded, all research at OTS biological stations, information on biological station infrastructure, research highlights and visitation, list of donors, grants and contracts, and audited financial reports.
