| I am member of the Monteverde Conservation League and during 1995 - 1996 I was part of the Board of Directors. The Monteverde Conservation League is a non-profit organization that manages the biggest private reserve in Costa Rica, Bosque Eterno de los Niños (Children Eternal Rainforest) and tries to preserve the tropical ecosystems and biodiversity in Costa Rica.
My main focus of interest in biology is sexual behavior in insects, but right now I am working with the change on the understory dynamics of the palm population in continuous and fragmented forest in Monteverde.
